Seminar “Arbitrating Disputes in a Modern Sports World”, Lausanne

The Swiss Bar Association (FSA/SAV) and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) organize a seminar dedicated to “Arbitrating Disputes in a Modern Sports World” at the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne on 5 and 6 September 2014. CAS Conference on mediation, Lausanne

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) organized a very interesting conference on the topic mediation in sports on 16 May 2014 in Lausanne. CAS is mostly known for arbitration related to disputes in sports. However, CAS also offers mediation procedures in which parties may themselves find a solution for their dispute with the help of a mediator. Mediation may in certain cases be an interesting option for parties to settle their dispute in a quick and cost efficient way.
